Updates: 03.01.03
Check out the link to a website called stupid guest tricks at the bottom of this page. Its got some funny stories about guests and cast members.
I was interviewed for a Zine that is going to be coming out soon called Magical Memories. Its an interesting concept, the fanzine is on cd, so you get to hear interviews as well as listen to the sounds of the park. The first issue is dedicated to the Tiki Room and includes interviews with programmers for the attraction as well as your webhost, ME!! As soon as I get word that its for sale I'll post a link here.
I'd love for visitors to use the little mapbook feature at the bottom of the page. Its kind of cool to see where everyone is visiting from.
If you have any stories about working at the mouse house please feel free to send them in to me. I can post them with or without your name.
DISCLAIMER
Hello there, thanks for coming by. I threw up this free web site thingy in order to share with you some of my memories from the park. I want to put up a little disclaimer before I begin because I know how sue-crazy some corporate entities can be.
I am not an employee of any theme parks. If I write about a memory or a story that is either illegal, unsafe or could get me into trouble, then it most likely is a figment of my overactive imagination and I made it all up. Heck, maybe I never worked at ANY theme parks and I am just making this all up. This site is in no way connected to or affiliated with any theme park. It's mine, all mine.
That said, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I worked at a theme park from 1989-1995 where I was trained on rides located in the westside of the park. I started working there at the ripe old age of 16 and was the youngest person ever trained on some of the rides I worked. I received Numerous guest compliments for my customer service and helpful attitude and several were printed in the employee newspaper. Unfortunately, the only bad thing with the park at the time was management and they were the reason I left. Today I am an executive manager with a large hotel chain and strive to be a good a manager as they were bad :) . Enough with the bitterness, you all wanted juicy, salacious details about life behind the scenes? Well then have a seat, fasten your lap belts, remain seated at all times and please keep your hands and arms inside the vehicle at all times.
